A real “changes everything” event if that actually happened.

• LinkedIn is the new social media channel baseline - “You can see how much Twitter has fallen by how well LinkedIn performs in comparison.” // Another round of nerds trying to escape Twitter. This is about the third, I think.

• How you use customer GPTs - Great looking uses for custom GPTs, and thus AI in general.

• United credits tech and staff investments for rising NPS scores - A rare example of an enterprise praising better user experience for helping the business. // “to create an airline that customers choose to fly, we need to deliver a great customer experience.”

• What Is the Point of Austin’s Fake AI Restaurant? - You usually do this to build up follows for an account to sell to someone, then they delete all the content and start new with all those followers. But wouldn’t it be it cool if it was some kind of new, surreal performance art?

• Toward Parsimony in Bias Research: A Proposed Common Framework of Belief-Consistent Information Processing for a Set of Biases - Aileen Oeberst, Roland Imhoff, 2023 - Summarizing all those cognitive biases.

• PlatformCon 2025: June 23rd to 27th - CFP closes February 23rd, 2025.

• JPMorgan Chase leads banking sector in AI adoption: report - "JPMorgan Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon prioritized data and infrastructure modernization to drive AI adoption in an April letter to shareholders, stating the bank planned to have 75% of data and 70% of applications migrated to the cloud by the end of the year. // “The characteristic of the top banks is that they started preparing five or six years ago with restructuring, hiring and putting in a research lab,” Alexandra Mousavizadeh, co-founder and co-CEO of Evident, told CIO Dive. “That’s what Jamie Dimon did.””
