I agree about how useful the iPod is with a new baby, but be careful what you listen to.
I remember when my son was tiny. The problem with the iPod at about 3 months old was that it would be snatched off me and sucked / played with. Same with cell phones, which got dropped in cups of coffee and glasses of water.
I guess I should have realised he would grow up to be a total geek, given such an early fascination with electronic gadgets!
