Catching up on analysts

Reading through analyst reports this morning, as you can see in the link posts. I was an analyst for a long time, and then did M&A and strategy. It’s fun to read through these reports and do the game of finding the most interesting parts.

When you’re working at an analyst shop, you don’t get to read many of the other analysts: you don’t pay the competition! Working on the vendor side, it’s nice: you can read them all.

This is an odd thing abut learning how to be and become a better one: you can’t get better by reading other analysts, only those in your shop. Anyhow!
