A larger historic record than can be comprehended

There is always some complaint that we’re loosing historic documentation (people write less letters, whatever): as usual, the technology of creating and publishing content is only growing the raw material needed to for reportage. In fact, it’s [so much raw material as to be overwhelming](https://www.propublica.org/article/inside-the-capitol-riot-what-the-parler-videos-reveal) misunderstood, and ignored by those who only know the old tools.
