Excel Macro for CAGR – Compound Annual Growth Rate

I end up calculating CAGR a lot in Excel. Exciting for me.

Here’s the macro-template for idiots I’ve finally found success with:

=(last/first)^(1/(LastYear-FirstYear))-1

I’ve seen Gartner use RATE for CAGR, and I you could probably use XIRR as well.

Have fun!

Also, if you just want percent change:

=((last-first)/first)

I congratulate you for this article that I’ll tell to the people around.
I request you to visit the gpa-calculator.co page where each pupil or
    university student can calculate ratings
grade point average rating. Thank you!
