Cote, I highly recommend watching Hitchcock’s first American film, Rebecca, if you are interested in seeing a not-intended-to-be-humorous-yet-humorous film about excessively wealthy people. As with most Hitchcock films, drinking is heavily incorporated into the plot. There might be a few scenes about JavaScript as well.
Just so people know, I didn’t know Charles was going to quote me when he asked about my name. So, I just cut’n’pasted from this mythology definition I had lying around.
I wouldn’t have responded with such a pompous “destined for greatness” reply had I known. But that’s half the fun of the IRC channel, I guess. Anything you say or do can be used against you in a court of podcast.
Thanks, Classic Pompous Films. I added it to the Netflix queue. Tragically, the availability is unknown, so we’ll see how long it takes to get the DVD. Maybe it’s only available on VHS! The horror!
KirinDave: like I said in some other tube, I don’t think it reflects poorly on you ;)
Johnathon Coulton did a little research and it looks like that Love God’s Way site is a hoax. http://www.jonathancoulton.com/2007/01/31/donnie-davies/
